Hi Everyone,

The Wake Aquatics Board of Directors has been given the green light for Wake to  have exclusive use of the City of Rockdale pool to begin our Mock Season and swim for the next few months.  While we're excited to have the opportunity to get back to some kind of normalcy - we're also extremely protective of our swimmers and want to make sure that we make the right decision as to whether to open amidst the constant threat of the COVID-19 pandemic.  While the Board of Directors was created to represent the voting members of Wake Aquatics, we felt that this decision was too large to make on our own.  That is why we're reaching out to you, as the parents of our swimmers, to ask that you give us your vote.  Please understand that we're still evaluating complexities and safety protocols so we don't have answers to many of the questions you may have, but our first step is determining whether the majority of you all would like to attempt to have a season this year.  The poll is available on our website, www.wakeaquatics.org on the top navigation bar under "COVID-19 POLL".  You'll need to be logged into your account to see it on the navigation bar and submit your vote.  Please pass this along to anyone you know who has signed up for swim this season but may not have seen this email.  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email us or message us on our facebook page at any time.  Thank you!
