Results from Regionals have been added to the "TAAF Regionals" section of our website located here: https://wake.swimtopia.com/taaf-regionals We're still finalizing entries for State - I'll have that out ASAP - but if you check on your swimmer's profile on our website, I have them declared if they have been submit as a qualifier for state - and it should tell you what they're swimming as well. Saturday morning I will be hosting a special double practice for each age group for STATE QUALIFIERS ONLY!!! I will focus on what they're swimming and advanced technique for those strokes - in addition to sportsmanship and swim etiquette. If you can make it with your state qualifying swimmers, please do so. As a reminder, we are collecting TAAF fees this week at practice. We understand that swimming is an expensive sport, but WAKE does not collect any additional amounts - 100% of the fees goes directly back to TAAF to pay for pool rentals, timers, officials, etc. - so we don't need to organize or bring those personnel. Please coordinate with Jewel Raine Mankin for your swimmers' event entry fee payments. Opening ceremony for State is Friday evening July 22nd - we may be coordinating a meetup and march with our athletes in the parade carrying the Wake banner. I'll send out more information as soon as I have it. Finally - we are evaluating the S.A.L.T. swim league and may be joining them next year. This means starting 1 month early, swimming one extra day per week and at least 4x more competitions. Exciting times ahead for our athletes!!!
